MASOOR DAL CUTLETS ( with cheese & paneer filling )

Made these yummy masoor dal cutlets with cheese and paneer filling. They tasted so good with the cheese melting in your mouth. Serve them hot.

Ingredients:
Masoor dal ... 1 cup
Semolina ...... 3-4 tbsps
Bread crumbs .. 3-4 tbsps ( or as needed depending on the consistency of your dal)
Garam masala powder .. 1 tsp
Red chilli powder ........ 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder ...... 1/4 tsp
Anardana powder .... 1 tsp
Salt .... to taste
Oil .. to fry

For the filling:
Paneer ... 4-5 tbsps (crumbled)
Cheese .. 4-5 tbsps (grated)
Mix them together and add a little salt ( remember cheese already is salty)

Method:
1. Soak dal for a couple pf hours. Cook it with very little water to keep it dry.(it should not be mushy)
2. Let it cool and add all the mentioned ingredients and mash it well to form a dough.
3. Take a small portion, flatten it with fingers and stuff it with the filling.
4. Deep fry the cutlets or you may even pan-fry them.
Serve hot with chutney / sauce

Pin for later
