MOONG SPROUTS SAMOSAS


Samosas with a different filling.  Cocktail size are.perfect for a party.  It is so convenient to serve and eat as well.

Ingredients:

For the Dough:
Maida ...... 1 cup (or as required)
Salt ......... to taste
Ajwain ..... 1/4 tsp
Oil ......... 2-3 tbsps
Knead into a soft dough adding water and set aside.


For the Filling:
Sprouts ....... 1 cup
Poatoes ...... 1-2
Green chillies .. 1-2 chopped finely
Turmeric powder ... 1/4 tsp
Garam masala ........ 1 tsp
Amchoor powder .... 1/4 tsp (you can use anardana powder also)
Salt ............. to taste
Coriander leaves ..
(add red chilli powder if you like )


Method:
1. Boil potatoes and cut them into fine pieces.
2. Boil the sprouts adding a little salt. Drain and set aside.
3. Mix all the ingredients together for the filling.
4. Roll out the dough into small rotis.Cut them into halves.
5. Place the filling and seal the edges with water pressing firmly with fingers.
6. Deep fry them and serve hot with any chutney or sauce.
